Club Information

City of York Athletic Club is the only club in the York area to cater for juniors and track and field athletics in addition to adult runners. Formed in the 1940's as Rowntree Athletic Club, it is the oldest and largest Athletic Club in the city.

The club affiliates for cross country and track and field athletics, but caters for road and fell running through our partner club York Acorn Running Club.

We are for athletes of all ages(from 8), gender and ability.

The club acknowledges the support of Ingrams Solicitors, City of York Council, England Athletics, North Yorkshire Sport and Nestlé Rowntree.
